Arrival by Plane
Manchester Airport
If your child flies into or out of Manchester, which is a mid-size metropolitan airport-30 minutes from Yavneh, Yavneh staff will transport your child between the airport and camp. The cost for this service is $30.00 each way for the 1st child and $15 for each sibling. If your child is flying to camp alone or with other campers, please:
- Mail, or fax us your child’s flight information at least 2 months prior to camp opening.
- Make sure your child travels with the Camp summer telephone readily available.
- Please give us written or e-mailed instructions regarding any luggage that you want shipped home via UPS after your child finishes his/her session. This is your responsibility not your child’s.
- Schedule flights so that your child arrives when other campers are arriving. This will make it easier for your child to integrate into the bunk. If your child is flying to camp first session please select a flight that arrives at Manchester airport between 10AM and 12 Noon on June 30th . The return flight at the end of first session should depart Manchester between 11AM and 2PM on July 25th.
- If your child is flying to camp second session please select a flight that arrives at Manchester Airport, between 12 Noon and 3 PM on July 25th. Second month campers or departing full season campers should plan a flight that leaves Manchester on August 19th between 10 AM and 1 PM.
Camp Yavneh is unable to meet or take your child to Boston’s Logan airport. If your child is flying into Logan airport you will need to arrange for transportation to camp. You may want to coordinate with other families to share in the transportation costs. For new families: This is not the usual way that campers fly to camp. Flying into Manchester airport works extremely well. If you opt to have your child transported to or from Logan Airport by a private limousine company, please let us know the arrangements so that we may know when to expect your child.
