Ways to Give

Camp Yavneh has many ways that you could assist us in our efforts to make Yavneh the special Jewish camp that it is. The following t'zedekah opportunities are available to you. In addition, if you have an idea of how or to what you would like to contribute please be in touch with Debbie Sussman, Camp Director directly at . All donations will be acknowledged in our newsletters and by mail.

Scholarship Fund
Yavneh gives out over $125,000 in scholarship for camp each year. This allows children from all backgrounds the chance to experience a Yavneh summer. Donation amount: your decision

Legacy Circle
A new program encouraging Yavneh friends and alums to include Camp Yavneh in their estate planning to help secure Yavneh’s future for many years to come. Learn More >>

Capital Fund
Help the Capital Fund and keep our facilities in excellent condition by making a donation or dedicating a facility in your name.

Many families and friends of Yavneh have participated in matching gifts program sponsored by the Harold Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy called, Meet Your Match, Create Your Match and Raise Your Match, which have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in funds.

Na'aleh – Summer in Israel Program
Help participants afford the opportunity to participate in Yavneh's summer in Israel program.

Siddur Donation
A beautiful plaque will be put in a Camp Yavneh siddur as you would like inscribed. This is a special way to commemorate a simcha or the memory of a loved one.
Donation amount: $36.00 per siddur

In memory or in honor of a loved one
You can acknowledge any occasion through a donation to Camp Yavneh Scholarship Fund or another program. A card from Yavneh acknowledging that a contribution has been made will be sent out to the recipient’s family.

Special Projects
Every season we are working on new projects at camp, such as capital improvements and special programming. Please email or call the office at (617) 559-8860 for more information on where we can best use your support. Donation amount: your decision

Sponsorship of Particular Programs and Events
The programs listed below are what makes Yavneh unique. If you underwrite one of these events your family's name will be associated with the program for this summer and mentioned in our camper newsletter, alumni newsletter, and at the event.

  • Ketsev: a traveling performance group of singing and dancing
  • Zimriyah: our own spirited, amazing song festival
  • Camp play: Every year something different and unique
  • Kerem play: put on by our CITs
  • Maccabiah: Color War! A five-day extravaganza that includes everything from sports to major performances in the arts
  • Scholar in Residence: Every summer we have visiting educators that interact and teach our campers on a variety of Jewish subjects
  • Artist in Residence: Everything from clay to painting, our artists are wonderful additions to the summer program
