Dear ready and rousing readers,
The first week of second session ended with a bang! Thursday was Kerem Carnival, which is always a highlight of second month. The day was filled with bouncing houses, slip n’ slides and games run by Kerem. After enjoying a wonderful day soaking up the sun we watched in amazement as Bob performed acrobatic tricks.
Friday morning we returned to our regular morning schedule of kitah, schiyah and chug. After lunch, we began practicing for Rikudiah (our annual camp-wide dance performance) that is now just a week away. Friday night we enjoyed our first Shabbat of second session that included a delicious Shabbat dinner and Zemirot.
Shabbat morning was chalk full of Shacharit and Musaf and then a couple of hours of zman chofshi (free time) before lunch. In the afternoon we had more zman chofshi and then gathered again with the rest of camp for seudah shlishi and Havdallah.
On Sunday we switch Sadnaot in the afternoon and then continued practicing for Rikudiah. We are eagerly awaiting our overnight and can’t wait to tell you all about it!
B’ahavah,
Will + Aliza
